Why Did ID...

...pick up this show? I'm a guy (I know, I know, mostly women watch ID) who is completely addicted to ID. I could always rely on ID to have something on that I could watch, Blood Relatives, Fatal Encounters, Deadly Sins, Scorned, Unusual Suspects, Nightmare Next Door, Deadly Women...the list goes on of shows I love to watch.

Homicide Hunter, Dark Minds and Injustice Files were probably my least favorite shows. I find Kenda, Phelps and Beauchamp all annoying in their own way, which prevents me from caring about the story...so I usually (not always) change the station. And Raven? Seriously? His insight on the crimes are all cliches. It makes me wonder whether that's really a serial killers voice.

Anyway...all three of those shows are still better than Cry Wolfe. CW seems is so fake and Wolfe is extremely unlikable. The stories are what make ID so great, when they introduce us to people like Wolfe, they take away the best part of the channel. At least the stories in the other three shows are good, it's the hosts I don't like. In Cry Wolfe, he sucks and the stories suck.

I've noticed most other ID fans feel similar to the way I do about CW.

ID is better than this. I really hope they move on from that trash called Cry Wolfe.

He originally appeared on an episode of Comedy Central's "Nathan For You" (which IS worth a watch) and somehow they liked him picking on poor Nathan enough to give him a show.

What makes you think mostly women watch ID? And who cares about gender. Every human should be allowed to like anything they want.

I LOVE this show. Totally entertaining. I love Mr. Wolfe and McCarthy too. Just suspend your belief for a little while.

I agree with every part of your post. I can't stand Wolfe and Kenda, they make both shows horrible. Homicide Detective would be better if they eliminated Kenda.

reply

If Kenda was removed there would be no Homicide Hunter (not Homicide Detective) because the show is based on cases he solved.
