The Predator? That's it? That was the best they could come up with?

shareYup. They kept it short, simple, and to the point... just like all the previous movies in the franchise. It doesn’t seem to come from a lack of effort despite what others will claim. A “The” in the title was long overdue anyhow. :)
Certain people take issue with how many Sci-Fi movies these days have short and apparently uncreative titles. I for one think shorter titles can sometimes be more effective.
