My favorite lines from the movie are about which side of the wall is inside and which outside.
I suppose the history of the real life wall, such as we know, isn't clear what was really going on, who was doing what to whom, and such. The movie is an opportunity to rethink all that. It might have had more to do with the Roman military economy than any local tribes.
Whatever else the movie messed up, at least they didn't mess over history very much.
Drago has the funniest ones:
"I shared my heart with a village idiot!"
"Been through that thank you!" (He sounded like some cynical judge)
"It's shadow jumping!! Not shadow standing!"
"Use your imagination!"
"Either that or Rhonu's distracting you! I do think she likes you! Notice how she sneers at you! When a female dragon finds a male worthy she strikes him with her tail!"
"You're making assumptions again! (swats his groin with his tail) Armored!"
The groin-punch thing made me face-palm: Pain felt is pain felt, and the only way Drago would not have felt pain there is if he either doesn't have the requisite gonads to begin with, or their gonads are designed not to feel pain, unlike humans. His whole body is armor-plated, so just about nothing should have hurt him then.
Would have been better if Drago had groaned and wilted a bit, saying something like, "Now that is not fair. Ours are internal!" Still, this movie took quite a few liberties of logic that I hope they take less of in the fourth movie.
