Seriously a comet hitting the earth would be like a 5,000 megaton explosion and here we have a trailer showing it sitting in a little pit in the middle of the forest. I know it's a fantasy movie, but still...

shareExcept it's not a comet, it's a dragon-stone. And the big boom and light show you saw when it hit the ground wasn't an explosion from an impact, it was just the light-show arriving dragons in their dragon-stone form like to put on to announce their arrival, being the somewhat flamboyant and attention-whorish creatures they tend to be.
Don't you know anything about dragons at all?
