I was very impressed with how real it all was, shows the naivete of youth and the consequences of poor decisions.
Those in such domestic situations should be made to watch this.

I think the main point and main message of the movie is that he didn't really give her much choice. Her terrorised her and controlled her to the point that she was unable to make any of her own decisions about her life. Don't blame her for "poor decision", blame the manipulative sh'thead who put her through all this just for the thrill.
Anger management problem my a'ss, he was abusive to her in his calm moments too, turning things around to make her feel guilty about things *he* had done.
Domestic abuse is never about men loosing control, what they do is create a constant climate of danger so that they can break the woman down and completely control them. Until they consider they're not good enough anymore and kill them
I don't think it was because she was not good enough ...he was angry she slept with someone else and took it too far
I feel bad for her- the other guy who liked her and she slept with was also a bit of a loser, he could have stepped in and helped her but he only 'remembered' her *beep* situation after having sex
I just watched this tv movie and was surprised how compelling it was.
I was actually speechless the way he treated her.
The ending was so horrible and so harrowing. why did he leave it 2 hours before calling an ambulance.
Her poor daughter...The guy that did this is a complete monster...
Brilliant actor.
I also agree the bloke who 'went' with her on holiday was a divvy.
He was fast enough to jump in bed with her, he knew the situation then.
