These people would be dead. If they were not dead after the first night sleeping under that canvas cover, they would have died for sure after falling into that ice-cold river. Even if you get out of the river the chances of you getting warmed up again without having a fire waiting for you are very very slim. And to top it of he dives into it again? Seriously?
