Are the characters deaf?

There's a scene the victim sees the murderer on the other side of the corridor, it's dark and he's not sure of what he saw. Next moment the murderer is gone. Next moment he's just behind the victim, and kills him.

This is kinda obvious, but I needed to come here complain about it.

How could the murderer walk so fast, as if he teleported there? And how couldn't the victim hear his steps?

This movie is too much of a caricature. Characters and actions aren't plausible, they are just stereotypes of stuff we've seen in other movies. There's no effort from scriptwriter and director to make things seem real.

Why are the 2 guys killing people, and why show her pics? Just because they like snuff?

I think you just answered your own question. Two killers, one was probably in front of Chris and the other was behind him the entire time. What I wanna know is, how did the killers see him (or anyone else) in the dark? It's not like they had night-vision goggles in the masks and it's unlikely that their vision adjusted to the dark so fast after turning off the power.

Killers don't need always need or have a motive, they're crazy, I think that's enough of a motive. It's not like they ask themselves if they have a good enough reason to kill.

It was the other killer. I hate when people criticize movies for not catering to their own stupidity.
