Because of that scene in "The Dark Knight", it will be a challenge to not think of Michael Caine whenever tangerines are brought up.

That being said, this is one of the indie movies I'm really looking forward to this summer.

Without even looking that up, I can tell you that no, Michael Caine is not, and would never be, in someone's Smartphone movie.
