Likeable cast but boring beyond description.

"Results" is an improvised film about a couple fitness trainers and a bored and depressed millionaire who hires them to get him in shape. I wish the movie was as interesting as the plot, but it isn't. Actually, very little even happens. I am surprised I watched the entire thing. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker has a tiny role so I am sure waiting for her screen time was the reason. The actors are fine enough, Guy Pearce, Coby Smulders, Kevin Corrigan and in a small role too, Giovanni Ribisi.There is very little when it comes to plot, and although watching actors clearly on their own improvising much of what is going on, it is not enough to make this an enjoyable viewing. * 1/2 out of 4 stars. Skip this snorefest. I wish I was given a buck for each movie that claims to be funny but isn't, I would have decent pocket change.

I agree. It almost felt like they made up the movie as they went. The movie just has no point. First I thought the movie was going to be about Kevin Corrigan's character. But then the movie shifts and it's suddenly about Guy Pearce's character. It says it's about a love triangle, but Cobie's character was never into Corrigan's character. All three characters come off pretty unlikable. I just didn't get the point of the movie. It wasn't about Corrigan as a millionaire who has money, but is bored and looking for something more. It's not about Guy's character trying to expand his fitness Empire or him loving Cobie and trying to win her back. The character's have no real motivations. There's no real plot. There doesn't even seem to be much character development. For a comedy there are very few laughs. It's a real let down. With this same cast and characters, you could've made a good movie. But you needed a real plot. I just didn't get it.

I didn't get it either...with this cast it had promise....was this all improvisation?
I kept thinking there would be SOME sort of payoff....but no

Yet you go on to describe it. So basically you watched the film to jerk off to a swimsuit model. I hope you washed your right hand or in your case thumb and forefinger before you used your keyboard.

That's a pretty harsh response to the poor fellow.
Honestly, mate, what could he have said/ done that soured you against him enough to warrant such an outpouring of venom?
