Israel Kamakawiwo?ole did a cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow back in the 90s that sounds a lot like this. I went to check the credits and there's no credit given to him.
Am I nuts or did it seem like Pixar was just redoing his arrangement with different lyrics? I mean, even the singer sounded like him.
I instantly thought of him and the more I listened the more "certain" I was that it had to be Iz, but I also was fairy certain Iz had passed away quite awhile ago, so that was confusing. (He died in 1997). The voice is extremely similar to say the least.
