She says she tried to get in contact with the family and asked for an address.

then She films the movie anyways when she doesn't get an address.

is she that Fuq-tarded? HELLO! Twitter. There's a verified @AaliyahHaugton Twitter ran by the family. There's also Rashad's And Missy Elliott's twitter she could have tweeted.

Even Aaliyah.com says

"Please direct all email inquiries for the Haughton Family to: [email protected] "

She had other options other that doesn't even require paying the Haughton's a visit.

She could have used Twitter or that email. Gawd, she's sofa king fake. Dolly Parton's Boobs are more real than she is

I had such high hopes for this girl, I was rooting for her. Now it seems that every single word out of her mouth is BS. When asked "why Iggy's music and not Aaliyah"? The chick tried to play it off like there was an actual reason as if we were going to hear Aaliyah's music down the line. No dumbass, you all never got permission or the rights to her music. She just sounds dumb, the girl seriously needs help. She just needs to be quiet and stop talking all together. I cant with her.

When something unexpected or bad in your life happens, just yell 'plot twist' and move on

Like she's just gonna show up on Their doorstep unannounced. I can see it now

Full of crap she is. That was the same narrative Zendaya used. How is it that fans can easily get reponses back from Missy, Tim, and Rashad but a girl in the industry has soooo  much trouble getting in contact with them? Oh that's right it was a lie. There has been much controversy surrounding the film and the question of why didn't she ask the family has come up quite often. She's saving face with the "Oh well I really reached out to them (so I can look like I actually care) but welp, couldn't get in contact with them..not my fault).

I know for a FACT that Ms. Diane indeed reads the fan mail. Rashad constantly interacts with the fans on his social media. She's a liar. It wasn't until after she got the part that this mega FAN(HA) sent in a request to follow Rashad(his page is private &he has to accept you)....he still hasn't accepted btw. She lied on twitter last week (don't bother checking it's ALL deleted) to a fan saying she had tried contacting Missy. Missy shot that down REAL quick stating she ONLY speaks with Rashad & Diane and that it was a lie...also noting they are STILL greiving (DUH).

My thing is if you supposedly 'failed' to get into contact with the family AND the family won't accept your request/pays you to dust/doesn't acknowledge you ALONG with there being statements they don't want the film why would you still participate in this?

The TRUTH is that Alexandra Shipp doesn't respect Aaliyah's family. She isn't the huge Aaliyah fan as she's been so horribly portraying either. As seen in interviews, she speaks as if she doesn't know wtf she's talking about. No real fan would speak that way about Aaliyah. Also check her social media pages..do a search back...you will find NO reference of Aaliyah WHATSOEVER prior to when she got the part. She is an opportunist, fame hungry fraud who plays victim and lies to help keep off the backlash.
