Teller spoke in The episode "Mentalist Marvels" S1E09.

We hear Teller Talk when the Wizards are doing their Wizard battle. After Billy pulls out the Big Mallet out of the lunch box, The cam switches to Teller, and you can barely hear him say "That was good". It's really low, but you can hear him speak!

Don't worry about it. Teller's gimmick to not speak on camera is just a style choice. If you look through their collection of shows, you can find a handful of times where he speaks. It's no big deal.
