Why wasn't there a consultant from DoD on set???

As a veteran I really want to believe they thought they hired a proper consultant, preferably a retired Navy Seal, to ensure at least the correct Military vernacular, and protocols were used correctly. Because, if they believe they had hired a veteran they didn't verify he had a DD214 to make sure the Seal was legit, and they need to demand a refund for his services. Also, I blame whomever neglected to proof read the script and the producers for this mess of a movie.

A fairly modestly budgeted Aussie production? Nah, I don't think they would have spent big bucks on Navy SEAL consultants. Given the genre and the scale of the production, I didn't think it was a bad sort of imitation.🐭
