Watching it now on Crackle.
I'm about halfway through.
It's ridiculously marginal. Some nice nods to the weapons used in the game, and the Frank West character is pleasantly sardonic.
But overall, not much better than a mediocre Sy Fy channel film.
I'm glad it's free on Crackle.
Maybe the second half will get better....?
The whole movie was an endurance test. Really a bad movie and what I don't understand is why these film makers don't watch source material like George Romero's movies and all of the Italian zombie rip-offs made during the eighties. It's like they just watched The Walking Dead and tried to guess what made that show successful.
This movie was a waste of my time.

It wasn't that bad, although I did watch it for free as well. If you put it on a scale against say, Uwe Bol's masterpiece 'House of the Dead', being a 1, and the Dawn of the Dead remake being a 10, it sits somewhere around 6.5. The extra .5 is that I like the whole Watchtower subtext for what the military was doing. I had a feeling the Director was trying really hard to send us that message, so props to him. I was actually expecting something along the lines of a college made crap flick, but managed to somewhat enjoy this...
