Why do they have Canadian accents?

I was watching this film last night while trying to get some sleep and I noticed they really didn't sound American.

Most Lifetime movies are made up of Canadians. It's probably a budget thing.

I did laugh out loud at Fake Munchkin Zack's "Time oat!"

Remember kids, dressing up like Hitler in school isn't cool!

OP is talking about how they pronounced things like oot and aboot. I think most people noticed it while watching the movie.

I'm Canadian and have never said oot or aboot. It's more like owt or abowt
