Moral of teaching universal tolerance and love isn't Christmasy enough??

It looks like some have their set standards for what should be shown at Christmas time. I thought all the different characters were refreshing and clever. Especially having a black man voice Santa and a white man voice the black traffic cop!

This wasn't some contrived story to pull at your heart strings like some drivel that's shown every year. It was thought-provoking and more than a little clever.

Open your minds people.

I agree! The old school Rankin/Bass specials are definitely my favourites, and some of the newer specials are really hit or miss with me, but I liked this one. Of course, not everybody's going to like everything, and most people are negative jerks on the internet ( :) ), but I suppose they're still entitled to their opinions.

However, as we seem to be the only ones here who enjoy this show, I must say it really got me. It's pretty funny, and definitely entertaining, and they used some of the best voice actors in the business.

Yeah, but...

and not just to Christians, he brought gifts to Hindus,

to Buddhists and Muslims, to fat and to thin Jews.

An open minded huh? But then again, I am not religious.
