Trying too hard to appeal to both sexes and failing

As a male I still like the show. Barely. There is just enough action to keep me interested, but far far too much silly soap opera love triangle BS that really has no place in an action show.

Is this an action show masquerading as a romance show?
Or is it a romance show with enough action to retain some male viewers too?

It looks the show can't make up it's mind. At the end of the day it seems that both sexes in the viewing population feel short changed and marginalized.

I dont know for certain if female viewers would rather have a lot less action (shooting/explosions etc). I do know that most men would want a LOT less love triangle nonsense.

Yes, we get it. relationships are hard enough. Add in the fact that one party is a soldier and the possibilities for conflict in the bedroom are endless. Add a love triangle and that is a recipe for disaster for most male viewers.

So, is this a female aimed show that hopes to keep a few male viewers? Probably.
Or is this a male oriented show that expects to garner a huge female audience too? Unlikely result, even if that was the initial intention.

I notice that the costumers keep the stars's chest under tight wraps for the most part. So, I am going with the gynocentric show with hopes to real in a few male stragglers.
