Right. And that's something I can't believe. Pure water doesn't leech electrolytes from your body. The water is still in your body and the electrolytes are still delivered where they need to go. Water isn't a magnet that sucks up impurities. It is H2O. Period. It never changes.
Now, things can be dissolved in water, that's true. But, they can easily be extracted from the water as well, just as the human body has been doing for millions of years.
You won't die from drinking purified water.

Well, I looked up a few articles after hearing it and the concensus is that it does exactly what they said, which is why they use it as a solvent in high tech manufacturing.
But hey, what do the companies and people that work with it know?
Why look to them when there's a know-it-all on every Internet board ever??
