HELP! How does it end?

I have to leave the theatre before the end of the movie. The last thing I saw was the scene where the "family" goes to visit Paul-André's mother, who is hit in the head by a ball kicked by the boy and is attended to by a female doctor who used to be Paul-André's fiancée. What happened after that?
