Excellent Documentary.

As a minimalist i can relate to the people in this documentary. Minimalism is a positive thing, there's many reasons why it's a good thing to not have a lot of material possessions, example if you move house you will have less stress because you won't have a lot of things to pack up, having not many items gives you a clear mind, if you have loads of clutter your mind will be filled with tons of clutter, it's psychological as well.

Having not many things brings a nice spacious area to your home, i'm not materialistic but i have beautiful grey laminated floors and i think it would be a shame to cover it up with a rug when the expensive floors are attractive enough to be bare, as someone who has a tiny 1 bedroom flat - it makes no sense to have loads of material possessions, the same can be said if you have a big flat / apartment or a big house, if you have a beautiful floor or carpet and nice walls why cover it up? think about it.

Being a minimalist helps a person psychologically, mentally and emotionally, less is more is a great metaphor with this subject, you have a peace of mind when you don't have lots of stuff.

Look around your flat / house, ask yourself do you really need the things that are in your living room / bedroom / e.c.t. I'm happy with my sofa bed, Chromebook, and the essentials. When you become a minimalist you'll be surprised and glad at how much money you can save. Like i said there's loads of positive reasons to being a minimalist.
