Jim Carrey everyone should be rich & famous to see it's a false path

The below quote in the documentary was interesting:

"I wish everyone could become rich and famous so they could realize it's not the answer." ~ Jim Carrey

But I cannot find the original source for that quote. If Carrey said it should be easy to find, but all I find is requotes and links to minimalist sites probably citing this documentary. Here is a Google search:

https://www.google.com/search?q=%22i+wish+everyone+could+become+rich+and+famous+so+they+could+realize%22&oq=%22i+wish+everyone+could+become+rich+and+famous+so+they+could+realize%22&aqs=chrome..69i57.17524j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#safe=off&q=%22i+wish+everyone+could+become+rich+and+famous+so+they+could+realize%22+carrey

Does anyone know if this a real quote? I am sort of doubting it.

I think he may have said it but I can't guarantee that. However I remember watching an interview of him and how he realised the bigger he got, the more empty he became inside. So many celebrities with all the money in the world but they are still unhappy and resort to drugs, chaotic lives and so on.

I quite enjoyed the documentary and I think there is an underlying message to it that resonates. What's the point of wanting and needing the next best thing. Why do I need the latest and greatest android/apple phone? Who am I competing with?

EDIT: I may have found the quote. I think he may have put it differently. On the video its on the 19:13 seconds mark. I'd recommend watching the whole thing as its a beautiful speech.

-'Human intelligence' is an oxymoron-

I remember him saying it on the Tonight Show or one of those late night shows I think
