Season 2 episode 3 - mermaid completely scary + freaky

Here is my 6 year olds review "completely scary, nightmare causing, freaky mermaid should not be in a cartoon for kids" what idiot from dreamworks thought this was ok for little kids, what filtering process from brain vomit to screen does dreamworks have for kids shows? Seriously you people behind this episode should let your 6 year olds watch it. Good job scaring kids you weirdos.

Guess it never occurred to you that not all children are like your child. See, there are children who aren't freaked out by the mermaid.

Also, who is the parent of your child? You, or the animators of this show? That would be you. That means that it is your responsibility to preview things that your child wants to watch if you know that your child is frightened by something in an animated TV series.

"Never mind walking a mile in my shoes. Try thinking a day in my head."

Of course their are children who aren't scared of a burnt crispy mermaids that vomit uncontrollably! I won't even speculate what else they see regularly that makes this normal viewing pleasure in their house.

I watched more episodes of this show than I would ever like to admit which is why my child had the permission to watch this pathetic example of mindless, garbage-ridden entertainment. The fact that the episodes leading up to this one were benign makes the entire episode surprisingly dark and I'll say it again completely ignorant.

Your tone and manner in which you say that I am passing my parental responsibilities off to someone else showcases how fantastically belligerent people are when someone displays an opinion that differs making you the perfect example of why society is failing at every corner possible. Good luck with your oddly random and pathetically abrasive tone towards someone warning other parents of young children that a crispy burnt vomiting mermaid might be cause for concern.

I guess someone's too retarded to be a parent...

You can make your point without using a slur.

Seeing as how the character is based on the real Fiji Mermaid hoax, I say the look is spot on.

Plus, she looks kind of Creature from the Black Lagoon-like... Pretty appropriate for an aquatic creature.

Though, I will admit, I can't stand Maria Bamford when she does that insufferable voice in her stand up... It's surprising that a voice actor who can perform a variety of voices, picked the most obnoxious nails on a chalkboard voice for her Stand Up.
