Peretti talks about stupid internet commenters. Well I am one... I make pointless dumb comments for no reason. but it feels so wrong to have OOTG be out for several days and there be no comments on IMDB yet.

Peretti used to write for the Sarah Silverman program... if you were a fan of that show you maybe remember how it used to do crazy stuff, that was almost like... magical or something? It is almost like in that Andy Kaufman territory... except more grounded? Just. Creative because she is creative and intelligent and wants to do cool stuff and experiment and break down walls..

There is some of that same energy in Peretti's podcast. She does this podcast where random strangers call in and she talks with them. Sometimes with a guest, somethings with a guest playing someone else. It seems a little odd to hear about the idea... but it's genius in reality.

The special is special too. Not just her material, but in the fact that there is, for example, like a 5 minute intro where she is riding a motorcycle and contemplating her life up to that point. I have seen a fair amount of specials but this is something new to me, and I love it, I simply love it. I just don't want to spoil any of it by talking about it...

Wow, so a lot of that brilliant "trippy" stuff in TSSP was out of Chelsea's messed-up-but-in-awesome-ways brain? Nice!

And yeah, the intro was fantastic -- not just the motorcycle with the gravelly narration, but the montage of "previous comedy specials" as she tried to find her voice ;)

Her confidence really shines through in her decision to do that kind of stuff in this special, it shows that she's more than just a clown. With female genitalia. She's also really funny (but her celebrity impressions are terrible, get more coaching hun, seriously!) (not seriously, obv. joking)
