Loved this special, did not like all the cutaways

I thought it was funny enough without the clown and everything else. Got kind of distracting after a while. You're so funny, Chelsea Peretti, you don't need all this extra stuff in your Netflix special!

I completely agree. The show was so funny it didn't need the distracting cutaways to an "audience member".

But the infant! And the dogs! And the poster of her childhood self!

Distracting, maybe. But also absurd and silly and unexpected which added to the fun inanity.

I thought the cutaways could have been done BETTER. But for the most part I liked the idea behind them.

they tried to do something a little different. Well, they certainly made it a little different than the usual stand-up special. Better or worse? Well, that is the question, isn't it?

Personally, I found most of them distracting and unnecessary, but I did sort of like the clown bits.
