Why the hell do you send a squad of highly trained OPI and some marines to a freaking piece of HALO (spining out of control, but still has Oxigen and gravitation somehow..facepalm) to walk around and talk some more WITHOUT FIRING A FREAKING SINGLE TIME!!!! this is the most retarded series ever in the history of any series!!! Make them do something heroic, kill Covenant for freak sake!

Uhmm.. yeah.. and the end is ...anticlimatic, retarded and they killed the ex Spartan..

they did everything wrong.. everything wrong with this series except the armors who they throw away 2 minutes into the series and the weapons.. who are not fired once.. I mean.. this is an epic fail above the epic fails.

It's damn shame someone can even greenlight this *beep* pile of crap.

Give us backNeill Blomkamp he was really passionate about the movie, Microsoft had to fuvck it up .. give us back Rupert Sanders.. the guy did WE ARE ODST trailer.. Awesome

This story was so bad I don't even know where to start. How could a professional writer come up with this? How could Microsoft approve it? How can this happen! It was so bad I want to seek out the writer(s) and punch them in the mouth. I'm angry. It's so bad that I'm angry.

Correction. Microsoft didn't screw up the Blomkamp Halo film, 20th Century Fox and Universal did because they couldn't agree on money.

Any Halo movie would suck lets be honest. It would be campy over the top MAchiosmo, that would try to reference the game to much. The story of HAlo has become so convoluted anyway, that I can't see them telling a coherent story in a movie.

Plus to any non Halo fan it would automatically look like a rip off of Aliens.

They still can make a great Halo movie, but I'm starting to doubt the likelihood that they ever will.

Every live-action product Microsoft has approved for this franchise has amounted to little more than a commercial for the next game. Ignoring the obvious examples (i.e. actual commercials), we have:

Forward Unto Dawn - A commercial for Halo 4. Introduces Lasky's character, re-introduces the Master Chief since his absence from the series after Halo 3, and even goes so far as to bookend the series with clips of Cortana and present-day Lasky that take place just before the beginning of... Halo 4. *sigh*

Nightfall - A commercial for Halo 5. Introduces Locke's character as well as the sentiment that the colonies have to fend for themselves and don't get a lot of help from the UNSC (which foreshadows the Insurrectionists' return). Also introduces the "Covenant fringe" which is a great excuse to shove Star Trek forehead-ridge aliens into the Halo universe so that Microsoft can save money on the TV show. *sigh*

I couldn't agree more. I made the mistake of taking a chance on this and picking it up on blu-ray. What an error.

Where is the quality control from anyone at Scott free or Frank O'conner on behalf of 343?

Okay I didn't expect it to be Hollywood but Jesus! The writing was appalling, the characters were incredibly clichéd (and incredibly stupid), the FX was awful and it was so bad that I stopped it after an hour.

No one was interesting, no scene was engaging and it only damages the Halo universe. The makers of this and the people that signed this off should hang their heads in shame for pumping out something so amazingly sub standard.

I've always been a fan of Halo, bought the special editions, own all the soundtracks and love the universe of it. But even I couldn't extract anything remotely positive from this incredible mess.

Shockingly bad and a complete waste of my time and money.
