A thought provoking and well made doco that still managed to leave me just a little unsatisfied. Certainly the US strikes on Pakistan are legally and morally highly questionable but I 'enjoyed' more the interviews with the drone pilots and their thoughts and feelings. I also wanted a deeper look at the history and mechanics of war and what this means for humanity. How it's changed from 'getting your hands dirty' to an antiseptic point and click phenomena. How does that shape us as humans.

Neither Brandon Bryant or Michael Haas were drone pilots. It's unfortunate that a documentary would fail to get that basic fact correct, after all the time Tonje Hessen Shei worked with them. Her consistent public references to them as pilots casts doubt on the credibility of the entire documentary, in my view.

As does Brandon Bryant's willingness to say anything.
