after seeing the preview for this TV Movie, and hearing that gawd-awful voice, I am hugely disappointed and will not be watching it. LifeTime Channel has turned a massive success (Grumpy Cat) into an epic failure. Shame on Grumpy Cat's "people" for selling out ? :-(
shareI don't think the owners sold out. But I do agree that the voice is an EPIC FAILURE. It is so flat, uninteresting, and completely uncreative. It should have been just as unique as Tartar Sauce herself. This had 'modern classic' potential all over it.
I'll still watch, but unless they change the voice between now and the premiere I am not going to be excited at all.

The voice totally doesn't match the character. Since Grumpy Cat is a female, why not give it a unique voice instead of a boring, generic female voice.
