Mediocre
I really wanted to like this film, but it didn't happen.
Too many cliches, weak,tiresome and very predictable.
Do yourself a favor and skip it.
I would have to agree with you. The movie tries too hard to be both a comedy but also have a redeeming value as a family drama - it just doesn't work, the movie isn't really funny and it doesn't succeed connecting as a drama either because the characters are cartoonish and not really sympathetic.
