Fotgetting Russel Brand !!!

I don't get what this guy thinks he is? I find him really funny, and enjoyed his films. They try and make him out to be some Ghandi like philanthropist whom people actually take seriously lol.
Now he's dropped out of fame, and lives his life as an activist. I don't have anything wrong with someone using their spotlight, and fame to try and do good, but he's not the first "Star" to do this. I don't see Leo DiCaprio (for example) making a documentary about his good deeds.
Maybe he's big in the UK with his whole shtick, but I think that's about it.
I really enjoyed his films , and comedy (like I said) , but I don't get the real point of this documentary?? Pretty stupid, and full of useless information except a behind the scenes of his life. The other part that tried to get you thinking he was some great activist whom is saving the world is just laughable to me.

He was huge in the UK...His show on BBC Radio was sorta like the equivalent of the Howard Stern show here in the states for a period of time.

I think the quote from his manager towards the end is very true.. Russell is there to get us thinking but to follow him would be a mistake. He doesn't have any answers and I don't agree with everything he says but I think it's unusual to see someone so passionate and articulate about the issues. I think he certainly raises some very interesting points which do get me thinking and I hope he gets other people thinking too.
