Complete and utter cr@p

It's so bad, it steams !

Do NOT believe the rating, it has obviously been raised that high by some interested parties.
DO believe all the 1 star reviews.

The story is total nonsense, and I can only presume that it was largely cobbled together as they went along.
The music sounds library stock, inappropriate and simply bad.

The acting alone will make you want to claw your own eyes out, it is so uniformly atrocious, but I'm not a cruel person by nature, and I'd like to think that it's mainly down to terrible direction, and all of those poor individuals that were somehow cajoled or otherwise coerced into appearing in this monstrosity, will eventually manage to move on and leave it all behind them, and even go to lead almost normal and productive lives, doing worthwhile jobs.

Should you still not be convinced to give this as wide a berth as you might do a hooker with herpes, consider this -
They decided to have the audience identify the Flashman-esque young bully as a bad guy by giving him a single earring and a pony tail !
Then as if this wasn't bad enough, they then thought they'd do the same thing with the good guy, the Irish priest, whose pony-tailed grey mane stretches all the way down to his buttocks, which is the only reason this film actually warrants its 'horror' classification.

Anything at all to redeem it ? - you ask.
Well I suppose the attractive daughter gets naked in the bath at one point, which is shot lingeringly and indeed the single highlight of this whole mess, and the director is so aware of this fact that he decides to go for it again very briefly at the end, but this time in the shower - simply Rinse and Repeat.
Infuriatingly though, she is supposed to be just 16 here, so the damn film won't properly let you enjoy even that, until you discover that the actor playing her is in fact 27 ( and so in reality just 4 years younger than the actor who plays her mother ! ).

Which all means that you have to lay the responsibility for this giant turd solely at the feet of its writer/producer/director, and thus I now call upon the wrathful gods of irony for he himself to be the one eternally cursed in this digital world, by The Witching Tree.
