Did I miss something? She had this really strong hatred for him, but he seemed like a great guy and obviously treated her sister very well. Was it ever explained?
Just wondering because I found it distracting...
You see it in many comedies. The jealous, cynical, lonely sister who wants to ruin her sister's marriage. A cliche at this point. It's supposed to be a funny, silly little beef.
I think it's because he's white. I can't find any other reasonable explanation.

Just a cliche character for comedy relief that did not work at all.
It appears to be a black thing they like to blame police for all there issues.
I have noticed this in real life its always someone else is faulty and police are easy target because of the stories you hear from media etc are always about Black people which is not what the stats show but a lot of people don't care about the truth.
