Kovu/Vitani's Lion Guard

So, we know Scar (or Taka as he was known back then) was once the leader of his own Lion Guard. He even had the Roar of the Elders to prove it. BUT, he used the Lion Guard to try and overthrow his brother Mufasa. When his team refused to help, Scar used the Roar of the Elders and killed them all...

But now, his lover Zira is the queen of her OWN pride and her own lands: The Outlands. Do you think we'll eventually see Kovu or Vitani as antagonists in the current show? One of the the two cubs could form there own Lion Guard to take on Kion's.

Think about it, Kovu or Vitani would have access to their own Roar AND be able to call on Scar for guidance on how to assassinate Kion, his sister and mother, and more importantly...Simba...



Hmm, doubtful as they weren't of the royal family, especially being Outsiders.

Hopefully they can explain this in the future though.

Well, technically Nuka and Vitani possess Scar's royal blood. Thus, Vitani being the second-born would make her a candidate to be the leader of Lion Guard if Scar still heals power.



But it's likely for the Outlander cubs to be Zira's and a random rogue, explaining their differences in appearance, I'll freak out in excitement though if Disney does to make Scar the father of them though, not including Kovu because incest wouldn't be approved in a Disney Junior show.

Scar had no biological children so he has no bloodline descents.

Nuka is Scar (Taka)'s son with Vitani being debated. Either way, it doesn't matter as the bloodline in question is Zira's, not Scar's. The rules of who can control theLion Guard of the Outlands is to be established by the Pride who rules it, i.e. Zira's Pride. Scar may be a King of the Past to the Pridelands but Zira is a current Queen of the Outlands.

So, with Zira's logic in mind, if Kovu is the Crowned Prince of the Outlands (and hopeful future King of the Pridelands), he technically wouldn't be fit to be a member of the Lion Guard. Just like Kiara, Kovu's place in the Circle of Life is to rule, not to defend (or conquer, as Zira's Lion Guard would likely focus). So, I'd say Zira would choose Vitani to be the head of her "anti-Lion Guard."

While not as skilled as Kovu in hunting (and subsequently killing), Vitani is more cunning and shrewd. These are traits many valued Scar for so it makes sense Zira would value them in her daughter. Further, I don't see Zira allowing Nuka to run anything beyond babysitting his younger siblings. Though we know Zira loves her eldest cub, she's ashamed that he lacks all the qualities of both she and her deceased mate. Thus, of her three children, Vitani is the best choice.

My question for this set-up, however, is "Would Vitani's Lion Guard consist of all lions, like tradition, or differing animals, Like Kion? Would we see a predators such as a hyena, vulture, snake, ect?"



As cool as that would be, I think Kovu would be more likely to fall for Kiara like he did in the sequel.

Okay, I've reconsidered my stance on this topic, as I believe the Outsider cubs share blood with Scar in some way, and looking at the way the Guard role is passed on,
Kiara is future Queen, and Kion, being second born, or born shortly after her, is the Guard leader, they appear to be the same size and height, this goes for Kovu and Vitani too. So we can assume that Kovu is the future King, and Vitani is the Guard leader, this would actually be awesome to see and it'd be a great opportunity for Disney to flesh her character out, like they did with Kiara.

That actually WOULD be pretty awesome! I adore Vitani, and Zira, and Nuka; this would be a great way to see more of them.
