La femme de Dieu (woman of god) = Asherah

According to biblical archaeology anyway. Prior to the adoption of monotheism there was a whole pantheon of gods, including Yaweh and his wife, Asherah. In fact, she is referenced in Jeremiah 44:19 as "the Queen of Heaven".

Just an interesting factoid for you all.

That is a semitic goddess: present in Akkad, Assyria and Babylonia. Probably, the jews took it from Canaan.

Another interesting factoid:
The Bible's story of the flood has been borrowed from Sumerian / Babylonian mythology. In that version, the Deity who saves mankind by telling a man to build a boat, is called Ea.
