Are there more puzzles? Or is it still all action?

Since the 2013 game was sorely lacking in the former and had way too much of the latter, does this keep that trend going? Or is it more like the older Tomb Raider games?

Ive just started playing it and it is definitely more action-based. Which sucks because the combat system is clunky as anything. But there are some neat Tomb puzzles, but the problem is - they're optional. Thats right, a game called Tomb Raider in which you raid tombs doesnt require you to actually raid Tombs to finish it. I actually only spend time playing through the story so I can get to the brief, but rewarding puzzle sections.

For all the games fun and beautiful graphics, it is first and foremost an action game. Such a shame, i miss the precision acrobatics and deadly traps that must be avoided or bypassed in some devious way. I guess developers these days just assume that no-one wants to actually use their brains these days.

It has more puzzles and the puzzles are more difficult, but the general focus is still on action.

Yeah, I think the Lara Croft Tomb Raider series has always been more action-based, and puzzle-solvings in tombs were all added-up bonus. This is not Saw, after all.
