Ok opinions. I absolutely LOVED this show. Here’s my question: has it ran the gambit, or is there another film / show for Lacy & Brent’s wedding? Maybe meet Wanda’s thick-headed kid Tanner. Have some previous guests return (Marvin Drey???). Thoughts…..
shareI also loved the show and enjoyed the movie as well. I would be surprised if it were to be revisited again. I think this movie was a nice reunion and it was great seeing the band get back together so to speak but it felt like a one off to me.
shareI think Brent has even said (on-camera in the bonus features, I think) that although he wouldn't rule out a sequel, they would have to be able to come up with a script worthy of being made.
Much like how they simply decided to end the TV show before it got too stale, Brent said he also didn't want to make sequel(s) just because it might be profitable to do so.
And, I agree. If they come up with a great idea/story, then sure, I'm on board. But if not, I'd rather they just leave us with what we have.
