Any info on release in the USA?

Anyone have any idea about when this will be released in the USA? I am just now watching the entire series for the third time through. Love this show!

Corner Gas The Movie Movie will not be released in the States. It will only be in the theaters in Canada for about three days, from Dec 3 thru Dec 6. You can then (or I was told) find it on Amazon.

or like I said, if you have a Canadian friend that can tape it for you from ctv...

Or, buy the Region 1 (Canadian) DVD or Region A blu-ray release from a Canadian e-tailer, like Amazon.ca or ZeusOnline.ca (the former CDPlus).

I suspect the OP was asking about home video release rather than cinema...

I'm sure the DVD and Blu will probably be on eBay and Amazon.com eventually, but at a healthy mark-up. Best just to order the DVD (or Blu-ray) from Canada. Mine's been pre-ordered since October!

Canada is in the same DVD and blu-ray region as us, and they use the same TV standard, so the discs will be 100% compatible with US equipment. No worries there!

If the original poster was asking about a THEATRICAL release, then, no, don't hold your breath, just buy the disc.

Don't expect it to have a U.S. release.

Only reason a Canadian one happened is because
1- it COULD actually pay for itself in Canada. Would be HARD to sell enough tickets in any U.S. city to justify the screen space.
2- A lot of the tickets for the release are free for people that helped with the kickstarter campaign....so its not like its raking in millions from ticket sales.

This was basically done as a "thank you" for the supporters..... and anyone who wants to pay $12 to see it in the 5 days its out before it gets played to death on CTV can do so.

For the record, just came from it & it surprisingly exceeded my expectations (I was afraid of it falling into the Popular project gets a larger budget & suddenly becomes much worse, that seems to happen to most things.). I gave it a 9/10 on here. Would have given it a 10 if there was a couple little things I felt it should have went with were in it/out of it.

I donated to the kickstarter campaign, and I received my dvd on 12/26/2014. Looks like some people are selling their copies on amazon, but for more than it's probably worth.
