I just found out there was a movie!!!

I just watched it. Hilarious. Like they never left off. I live in America and one night at like 3 in the morning WGN was playing this show on TV and I was instantly hooked. The first thing I saw was Wanda trying to put her initials in the wet concrete. After that I had to find the shows online cause WGN only played them for a short time. I was hooked. I can't believe that no stations ever aired this in America during primetime. I think it would've been great! I started watching the shows again and went to Wikipedia and then they mention a movie was made! Hot damn. I know you can't keep a show going forever, but if they made more Corner Gas shows, I'd watch everyone of them.

I fully understand your enthusiasm! I'm in Florida and some network showed the series a couple of years ago. Like yourself, I was instantly hooked.

Brent Butt heads up a great cast and his brand of comedy is genius! When I watch Corner Gas (now online) I feel like I'm in on the joke, it's what I like to call 'comfortable comedy' and it won't ever get old (like Bob Newhart's shows and The Honeymooners, etc.)

I'm STILL looking forward to watching THE MOVIE version! I was very exited when it premiered in Canada and I read on Twitter what fans and cast were saying about it. I'll see it, hopefully in my lifetime. But if I should die first, I can rest assured it'll certainly be showing in ?Heaven..... and ?Hell..... depending...?????

I too am a states fan who discovered it through WGN. Loved the movie and thought I had seen every episode until last week I realized I had missed the last couple. What a great night THAT was :)
