Finally just now, saw a TV spot for this.

I think awareness for this film is super low. Anyone else agree?

I agree.

I think it makes less than 10 million. I'll say 8.5 million.

I don't quite agree. There have been stories about WARF on Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, and similar shows, and Efron did The Tonight Show and Late Night, and there have been five or six regional premieres to generate news. Whether all this effort pays off is an open question.

I agree. The Thursday night gross for this movie was pretty bad. Straight Outta Compton will probably be #1 again, but it looks like War Room, a low-budget Christian movie, might do well. I don't think it will be #1, but it's worth keeping an eye on. It made $600k last night which is pretty solid, especially for a lower-profile movie, plus it's the type of movie that will probably hold well over the weekend as the target audience goes to see it in groups after church on Sunday.

Just saw it. It isn't terrible but your basic coming of age finding yourself story, just dressed in an EDM background.
