Please post what time you went, how full was your theater, what trailers were shown, and the audiences reaction.
shareI had a unique experience. I went to the 7 p.m. Thursday advance screening and found myself entirely alone in the theater. I didn't expect a crowd, but at least three or four other people who wanted to see this as soon as available.
The audience (me) reaction was that it was OK if you like the music. Dramatically very predictable (you know he's going to hook up with his mentor's girl friend, you know he's going to discover his talent and produce a hit at the end).
