* Sleeps with James's gf behind his back.

* Still has the nerve to show up afterwards with a pity story about Squirrel in order to get another shot at playing Summerfest.

* Creates a track exploiting one of his dead friend's final heart to heart conversations using a Mac that James bought him.

* Shows zero concern James's own drinking problems, a person who actually helped Cole achieve his goals.

* Still took the money he made from the foreclosure deal on that lady's house despite outwardly protesting his boss's actions.

- Agree with the first point. But she is wrong for it also and if you watch the way the scene plays out she initiated the entire thing and got Cole to come to her and from there got what she wanted. You see her whisper in his ear numerous times then them run off aka its her ideas

- I think he genuinely felt bad and like James. I don't feel he was using James to get back in but he ended up back cause he went to James and was a man and apologized

- He also exploited Sophie. With James right there. But he wanted them in it cause they were a "part of him"

- Why should he worry if James isn't?

- He gave the foreclosure money to the woman in the after credits scene

I do agree with you. The unfortunate reality is society never places equal blame.

The movie never elaborated on it, but one could interpet James kicked Sophie out...although she probably would have eventually left him anyway.

Well said totally agree
A typically totally selfish cannabis user in my opinion. Detestable character. Hope Effron doesn't live like this or he'll be one of the next 'celebrities' down. Michael Jackson, prince, Whitney, the list goes on. All started with totally innocent cannabis use.

While wrong, I'd hardly say sleeping with an abusers girlfriend once on her prompting is the crime of the century...

Completely agree with you. Cole and his friends seemed like scummy pepole. Cole was a very unrelatable character (except for maybe the teeny-boppers), and it was hard to care for him.
