'In A New Arena' First Episode
I don't know why the first episode was aired about five months later, after their season was finished. The show would be much more relevant if it was show during the season.
Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley did not look very knowledgeable. Gene asked if the Arena Football League teams make money. Shouldn't he have found that out BEFORE he purchased a team? They looked like a-holes wearing dark sunglasses to the AFL owners meeting.
Bob McMillen was an excellent AFL player then coach. I remember him playing running back for the Chicago Rush. He said he pisses excellence. He isn't exactly humble.
I am one of about five people who watches Arena Football. The league really went down the crapper after they canceled the 2009 season. I think in sports it is implied that leagues play every season.
The Arena Football League had a Los Angeles franchise from 2000 through 2008. They were called the Avengers.
Quarterback Colt Brennan was the most recognizable player. I couldn't believe Paul Stanley referred to Brennan as a "golden boy". Brennan has a checkered past.
The team owners and management were talking about how they had trouble getting players. I was a little confused because they acquired seven players in an expansion draft that they didn't mention. Please click on

I can't believe quarterback J. J. Raterink worked another job during the football season. I know they don't get paid much, but he has the entire off season to work. I guess that isn't sufficient.
Gene did not know much about the serious problem of head injuries from playing football. Does he actually follow the sport?
Running back Joe Mortensen might be the star of the show. He said he was conceived after his parents attended a KISS concert. And he said practicing football without pads is like dry humping.
Wouldn't it make sense for an Arena Football team to practice INDOORS?
