Gene and Paul Just Don't Get It

I'm a HUGE KISS fan, but these two are delusional.

They think that just by giving their guys a pep talk they can get inspire them to win. Why didn't/hasn't someone told them that an expansion team is expected to suck? And that you're losing because the other teams are simply better than you?

And when Gene got on the phone to speak to Garcia, the QB, and he says "Look, we're big fans of yours..."; what a load of BS. Gene wouldn't know who Payton Manning was if he walked up to him and said "Hey, Gene. Nice to meet you. Payton Manning." Let alone an AFL QB.

Then when Gene tells the players (paraphrasing) "everybody said we were garbage when we started. But we proved them wrong. Look at us now". What Gene and Paul don't realize is that these guys, if they were a band, aren't even talented enough to play a local bar. They'd be playing barmitzfas (sp?) and old folks homes.

Let's face it guys; yes, you have stepped into a world you are unqualified to be in with ridiculous expectations.
