Mia's not really an actress

I feel like this whole time, the movie is making us think that Mia wants to be an actress for the right reasons you should be an actress which is to play parts. But when she was playing parts different than her, she didn't get the roles. She acted like she was only good at basically playing herself. I'm pretty sure her one-woman show was about her. And at the end when she does become an actress, it is only because at that audition, she told her own story and did not necessarily play a character. We see her go to the cafe and the treatment she got from everyone, but we never actually saw her act. It's almost like she wanted to be a celebrity and a writer, but not necessarily an actress.

And Mia's life parallels that of Emma Stone's. 🤔

This film was tailor-made for Emma.
