I'm not so sure about the music. Seems kind of lackluster. This is going strictly by the trailer.
Still, this is probably the only film I'll see it the theater this season. In a sea of dark, grayish-green cgi superhero spectacles, this will be a refreshing tonic for the eyes if nothing else.
I get that. I'm super picky about what musicals I watch, but I think this one looks gorgeous and amazing. I can't wait to see it. But, some of the music in the official trailer didn't seem quite as lovely as the music in the teaser trailers. Also, they seemed to be trying to downplay that the film actually is a musical with the official trailer.—or, at least that was my first impression when I watched it. So, I just hope "Audition (The Fools Who Dream)" and "City of Stars" won't be the best songs of the movie. I'm still really looking forward to this, though.
