All comments about the clarity of historical facts besides, we've still enjoyed this mini-series -- and it is our opinion that using 'younger' attractive characters may get some young people interested in history again (something our country desperately needs right now)... and right along with that, it is also our opinion that

I agree. While I would rather see something historically accurate, I can see value in a fictionalized version to grab people's interest who might not otherwise be drawn in.
