If nothing else, this show illustrates the power of makeup properly applied. Take Ilana from Sarasota and her pair of "wrecking balls" on her chest. Makeup properly applied she looked quite nice and her features were quite soft and she looked pretty good. No makeup or badly applied makeup? She looked rough... really, really rough and harsh.

I mean, I'm an ugly SOB myself but I'm not putting myself on national TV on a series about looks and appearance and about trying to look good at the expense of my own health and well-being.

Just like Helena Rubinstein famously said: “There are no ugly women, only lazy ones".
