Ugggh. Wish this clown would just go away. I'll admit, he's gotten better on BIP, but that doesn't change my overall opinion on him still being around. With all the moronic decisions this show makes I'm not at all surprised they chose him. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's extremely lame that they continue to pick former contestants to be the next bachelor/bachelorette simply based on pity because that person hasn't found someone yet. Welcome to the real world, we all get our hearts broken. Doesn't mean the dude should be able to come back pretty much every season.

Better it be him than Luke or Chase, the most boring, plain-looking and personality-free men who ever lived! :P

Agree on Luke and Chase. Incredibly boring with no personalities whatsoever. Both of those guys would have made for dull seasons.

I agree with Jreily. I always thought Nick had just the right amount of charisma, without being TOO nice like Ben from last season. As far as him being a fame ho, I truly think this is one of the rare times a person on this show really just got caught up way too much in the "Bachelorverse" like with Caitlin for instance and then they just kept asking him back again and again. He doesn't seem to be out purposefully looking for a career in Hollywood, not like Chris S, Sean Lowe or Jake the snake were anyway. To me he comes off as extremely genuine, AT LEAST COMPARED TO THOSE PEOPLE.

Agreed. Nick is a desperate ho who can't get a girl outside of the show. Unfortunately a lot of people find that interesting to feel good about themselves.

reply

That's not why. It's because people like him. Picking a newbie is risky because they may be dull and awkward in that situation

I'm glad they chose Nick. Such a step up from the likes of Farmer Chris, Winemaker Ben, Juan Pabs, etc. Finally a Bachelor with some personality. Any of the guys from JoJo's season would have been a major bore, except for maybe Chad, but like that hot mess would really happen!!!

I think Wells would have been ok. He'd have been the only one though. The only other guys who had personality are totally unsuitable for the role ( Chad and Alex...nuff said. Robby is one of the fakest people to ever go on the show and James T is just not the right look).
