Does anyone else think that Josh is one of the most fake contestants this franchise has ever seen?!?

It's like everything he says IS scripted (esp when he's talking to and about Amanda) and,how 'perfect' she is (I'm sure she's a very nice girl, but you CAN'T possibly get to know someone that you spent a few weeks in a tropical paradise). I always thought that he was also kind of slimey - ever since Andi's season. He's as fake as the whitening treatment on his teeth, and people who are fake are often hiding a lousy personality/mental instability. And he def strikes me as an emotional abuser - just a gut feeling.

100% agree. There is something so off about this guy. If I give him the benefit of the doubt, he's just absolutely not my type and rubs me the wrong way. But I get a slimeball vibe from him.

Someone posted a while ago that he reminds her of Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. Ha, I keep thinking too that he reminds me of a cartoon character. He just doesn't seem authentic at all.

A thousand percent agree, he seems really fake and off to me even Amanda doesnt seem like she has much of a personality imo or she's too aware of the cameras, she always seems like she's either lost in thought or adjusting her hair, face or something to look good, their relationship seems too fake and i would be ok with them deceiving each other but it gets pretty serious when not just a child but 2 are involved. He's whole demeanor seems forced and like he's trying to convince everyone that he's this great religious guy, I do not buy it at all. #teamevanly!!!

He is absolutely fake. Just like Amanda. They go well together.

And what's with his constant moaning and groaning? I don't remember him doing that on Andi's season? It's like he's gotten creepier.

Well...Nick said he wanted to f--k instead of make love. It rubbed Andi the wrong way. She's such a prude.

Amanda said on After Paradise that Josh does not actually make that moaning noise nearly as often as portrayed, which I tend to believe. She acted like it was gross and even said she would have told him to stop it if it had actually been that excessive. I'm sure he did it a few times, and since the producers are notorious for exaggerating everything to the extreme for the sake of a few laughs, it seems that they overlaid that audio onto a bunch of scenes where he wasn't actually moaning like that.

But I don't like Josh at all, so I wish all of the unfair edits in the world upon him. 

I don't think Josh is fake but I think there are two sides to him. There is content Josh who is like a well articulated used car salesman. Then there is possessive Josh who is manipulative and abusive when he doesn't get his way.

It amazes me that Josh and Amanda think their coupling up will lead to some celebrity couple status. Lol. Amanda isn't "America's sweetheart" redeeming Josh's good name and Josh isn't "Prince Charming" providing strength and stability to a single mom. She's seen as a dumb fame whore who cares more about attention than her daughters' well being, and he's a duplicitous control freak narcissist. I wonder if they've figured out that NOBODY is cheering for them?
