Qi'Ra: A Star Wars story

In the time it takes Solo to get absolutely nowhere in the empire to the point where he is actually sentenced to death, despite his sole focus being trying to figure a way to rescue Qi'Ra ... She not only rescues herself but becomes one of the top lieutenants for a major crime syndicate AND a Sith in training?

Lol it made me laugh a lot.

Kennedy trying to use Solo as a platform to launch this 'character' in the hopes that it would catch on and she could add another tick in her checkbox is the main reason this pointless movie tanked.

Other than the title and the fact that the audience knows Han from the other movies, it's barely clear that he is the protagonist.

That's one of the film's larger weaknesses, the fact that it's clear that this minor character is much smarter and more focused than the protagonist, and that she's been having a much more interesting time than he has during the last few years.

A team that can't make Han Fucking Solo the most interesting person in a film doesn't deserve to make films at all!

reply

Exactly.

My opinion of the film was that it wasn't terrible like the ST - it was just BORING.

And to me, making a BORING film about Han Solo seems unfathomable - it must have taken serious skill to actually achieve this.

That is what makes this film so bad.

reply

I thoroughly enjoyed it and wasn't the least bit bored.

reply

Still waiting for the Solo movie that is actually about Han Solo and not a guise to set up a new character.
