This was a movie nobody asked for. There was more buzz for a Kenobi movie but KK wanted this. Then the directors went over budget and KK also didn't like the comedic tone. After the reports that the directors were fired it put a negative spin on the whole production for a movie nobody really wanted. In addition it came out just six months after a flagship SW movie that it had no relation to.

The trolls gave themselves the credit so they could flex their power but they learned with Captain Marvel that their little circle jerk doesn't mean a damn thing.

No, this movie bombed because it lacked an actual Han Solo!

Everyone loves Han Solo, but you can't just put a blood stripe on any random schmuck and call him Han Solo. People only love the real thing.

I've seen Solo exactly 1.5 times in total - the second time, I walked right out in the middle of the Kessel Run, THAT'S how much this movie frustrated me.
